Characters from Shakespeare’s Macbeth were designed and made by Michael and Jane Eve. Commissioned by the Hogarth Puppets in 1959, the figures were created for a sixty‑minute adaptation of the play. The production toured not only in England but also in Germany, Italy and Australia, showcasing the Eves’ distinctive sculptural style and the Hogarth company’s commitment to bringing classic drama to international audiences.
