37. The Eighth Wartime Bulletin

Artist / Maker: N/A
Object Details:

The Wartime Bulletin, first published in November 1939, served as an essential means of keeping Guild members across the country informed about activities that continued despite the disruptions of the Second World War. A total of seventeen issues were produced between 1939 and 1946, providing updates, news, and a sense of continuity during a period of national upheaval.

In January 1946, with the return of peacetime stability, the Bulletin was succeeded by the first issue of Puppet Master, marking a new chapter in the Guild’s publishing history and celebrating a renewed sense of normality.
