The Guild has long sought to engage younger members, and this commitment was evident in 1941 with the launch of the Junior News newsletter in August of that year. Two further issues followed, in April 1942 and March 1943. The extended intervals between publications were attributed to the ongoing pressures and disruptions of the war.
