In 1935, the Guild marked its tenth anniversary with two significant developments: a move to new premises at The George Inn, Southwark, and a redesign of its newsletter and member correspondence, Notes and News. The Guild announced its intention for the publication to be “as helpful as possible to every puppeteer,” promising monthly features on technical matters, playwriting, puppetry history, and the wider applications of the art form.
The Guild’s newsletter continues to be published today.
